As already announced, we are not only supporting WBAA and ASAF, but are now also again "in charge" of ESAA, OCEANS and EMA. And this is how we came to host online-meetings in four different networks in one day last Saturday: WBAA, OCEANS, ASAF and ESAA.
The WBAA-board meeting was originally planned for taking place in Belgrade but instead turned into an online-meeting filling almost nine hours. (full article)
For OCEANS, this was the first board meeting after the contract take-over. Therefore, elections and upcoming meetings were on the agenda. (full article)
ASAF was discussing the upcoming year and structural alignments. (full article)
ESAA also focused on the planning of 2021 including trainings, showcases and project planning.
A big thank you goes to the community managers, the minute takers and to all colleagues who made it possible to successfully host and implement four events on one day – even on a weekend.
We are happy that the EU – concretely the Directorate-General for Education, Youth, Sport and Culture (DG EAC) – entrusted the MOSAIC as a part of the consortium together with the Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit GmbH (GIZ), the Institute for Advanced Studies in Vienna (Wien IHS) and ppw with the support of different international alumni networks for two more years.
Namely, we will take care of the Erasmus+ Student and Alumni Alliance (ESAA), the OCEANS network and the Erasmus Mundus Association (EMA) during the next two years. It is an honour for us that the EU once again chose a consortium with the MOSAIC responsible for the community and multistakeholder management on the one side and for the offer and concept on the other side - this illustrates our professional and goal-oriented work performance we have accomplished over the past two years. The fact that the EU has now confided these alumni networks and their further development to us for another two years motivates us to take the next steps, maintain the good things and enhance our competencies where it is indicated.
We would like to thank our colleagues and partners for their contributions regarding the compilation of the offer and we are looking forward to a successful collaboration and implementation of this project in the upcoming two years.
Erasmus+ Student and Alumni Alliance Board Meeting
For the first time the OCEAN Network's Annual General Meeting took place in the ASEAN region this year. The event was a great success and was hosted by the Chulalongkorn University in Bangkok, Thailand.
